The corniche Hospital Women's Health Centre has been reopened. The centre is the corniche hospital's gynaecology and women health's specialist centre for diagnosis and management of all gynaecological conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, urogynaecology, abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic floor prolapse. It also runs specialist clinics in early diagnosis and management of precancerous and early cancer of the cervix (neck of the womb). In the centre conditions such as postmenopausal symptoms, polycystic ovary syndrome are also managed by highly specialised consultants with particular expertise in these conditions. There are also, dedicated clinics for family medicine and new-born follow ups.

One stop management for certain conditions is performed in the centre without the need for hospital admission or anaesthetics. These treatments include outpatient hysteroscopies and colposcopy, coil insertions and endometrial biopsies. More complex cases which might require surgery such as laparoscopy (Key Hole surgery) for endometriosis, removal of fibroids and hysterectomies are performed at Corniche hospital.

A group of highly specialized consultants with great experience in gynaecology, led by Dr George Botros the chief of gynaecology and a consultant in complex minimally invasive surgeries for severe endometriosis and laparoscopic removal of fibroids among the staff running the Women's Health Centre clinics.
