Social Media Policy
By commenting on any SEHA social media site, you agree to these terms.
SEHA has opened public-facing pages on social media sites for viewing content and/or videos and posting comments about SEHA. These social media sites include SEHA's Facebook page (facebook.com/sehahealth), SEHA's Twitter page (twitter.com/sehahealth), LinkedIn Group, SEHA Blog, SEHA YouTube, multimedia and news media sites, or other user-generated content sites.
Social platforms provide a way to collaborate and share information quickly and easily with friends and family. For all intents and purposes we acknowledge Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and any other legitimate blogger or social media sites, and encourage you to use them responsibly.
Purpose and procedures
As an online user, you are encouraged to participate in and contribute to a variety of social networks. When participating in online conversations, kindly adopt the following basic guidelines:
• Post meaningful, respectful comments. No blatant spam or personal promotion of any type is accepted or tolerated.
• When disagreeing with others' comments, always keep a calm composure.
• Do not share confidential or sensitive information about SEHA, its business entities, business partners, or employees on any public forum.
All social media users should respect the moral, social, and cultural values of the United Arab Emirates. As a guest commenting on SEHA's social media sites, you agree that you will not violate UAE country laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright and intellectual property rights and laws regarding any content that you send or receive via this policy; also that you don't transmit any material (by uploading, posting, email promotional ads, junk mail, or spam) that might contain software viruses, worms, disabling code, or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware; or personal data about third parties without their knowledge or consent; or share confidential pricing information of any party.
SEHA reserves the right to delete any material that may pose a security or privacy risk, contains abusive language, or uses vulgar words, phrases, or attachments. The administrator of SEHA also has the right to block users who do not abide by this policy and report them, if required. While SEHA has no obligation to monitor your participation in social media sites on activities related to business, products, employees, customers, partners, or competitors, we reserve the right to do so. All users must remember that you may be viewed as endorsing any web video related to SEHA once shared by you or third parties (whether hosted by YouTube or elsewhere) or other content you link to from your blog or posting. The Social Media Participation Policy applies to this content as well. Also, recognize that a video owned by SEHA is an area in which you need to be particularly sensitive to others' copyright rights. Generally, one cannot include third-party content such as video clips or images in your video without obtaining the owner's permission.
This policy may be updated at any time without notice, and each time a user accesses a social networking site, the new policy will govern usage, effective upon posting. To remain in compliance, SEHA suggests that you review the policy, as well as the other website policies, at regular intervals. By continuing to post any content after such new terms are posted, you accept and agree to any and all such modifications to this policy.
