Medicine is defined as ‘the science and practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease’, and encompasses a variety of healthcare practices evolved to maintain and restore health. SEHA’s resources in contemporary medicine apply biomedical sciences, biomedical research, genetics, and medical technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent injury and disease.
Systemic anti-cancer treatment includes chemotherapy for common solid cancers, and monoclonal antibody treatment and targeted therapies for solid cancers, administered through a day-care infusion center and inpatient facilities.
